Silicone-Treated Cotton — Care & Handling

The MODEL 218 is made from silicone-treated cotton — the same material used in Sack-Ups' full line of firearm sacks. The silicone treatment is woven into the fabric, not sprayed on, so it does not rub off onto your firearm's finish.

• Machine wash cold, gentle cycle — the silicone treatment survives repeated laundering
• Air dry or tumble dry low; avoid high heat
• Do not use fabric softener or bleach, which can degrade the treatment
• Inspect periodically; replace if fabric shows wear or thinning

Rust & Moisture Protection

The silicone-treated cotton creates a vapor-permeable barrier that wicks away and repels moisture, helping prevent surface rust and corrosion on metal components. Unlike plastic cases or hard containers, the breathable weave prevents trapped condensation — a common cause of rust during storage.
